The club is situated within the parkland area of Hampden Park and is readily accessible by car and local bus routes, and there is ample free parking. We are surrounded by beautiful scenery for all to enjoy.
The club was established in 1979 (see History of the Club) and, as at April 2019, membership stood at 752 (500 Full, 252 Social)

The bar will stay open for half an hour after end of last session.
We have six rinks of Greengauge carpet with the highest quality lighting. The running surfaces are kept in immaculate condition ensuring bowlers of all standards enjoy their game. For added comfort an up to date heating/air conditioning system has recently been installed.
Spectators are able to view the greens from a raised area where members and guests enjoy a fully stocked bar at club prices.
Our restaurant seats 120 people and has views over the rinks. A daily menu is available if you fancy a bite to eat.

Hire of Function Room
The club boasts an enclosed function/dining room which seats 120 people. The table and seating arrangements are flexible and there is an area that can be kept free for dancing. We have a fully qualified in-house catering team who are experienced in catering for private events and would be happy to discuss any requirements.
Rates for hire: £75 for non members, free for members.
We also have a well appointed committee room for your meetings/training courses etc.

Our social calendar has a variety of events throughout the year, including regular quiz nights, live music/cabarets with buffet, beetle drives, race nights, ladies afternoon teas etc, and charity events.
The club also arranges an annual trip to Potters Leisure Resort for Bowling Break.
Sewing Group – meets Mondays & Wednesdays 10.00 – 12.00 all year (there is currently a waiting list to join this group)
Decoupage/Card Making – Monday 2pm – 4pm (all welcome)
Scrabble Club – Wednesday evenings 7pm
Ukulele Group – Monday evening 7pm
Mahjong Group – Monday evening 7pm
Whist Drive – Fridays 2.15pm
Eastbourne Photographic Society meet here Tuesdays 7.30pm – 10.00pm, they are a thriving, friendly camera club with around 80 members of all ages and they support all aspects of photography whether you use a DSLR, mirrorless camera or your phone.
