President’s Message

Eastbourne and District Indoor Bowls Club has undergone several improvements over the past couple of years that has seen the club membership grow significantly.

During the summer, the club website has been fully redesigned and modernised to better reflect our club status as one of the leading indoor bowls clubs in the South East of England. Our new web pages will allow everyone to see inside our wonderful bowls club.

May I take this opportunity to welcome each and every member in to the club and wish you all a pleasurable and successful year.

Take Your Partners By The Hand . . .

Saturday 31st August 2019 saw our first ever barn dance held at the club and what a roaring success it was! Beautiful bunting decorated our function room, tables were laid with gingham tablecloths and lovely little flower displays welcomed our members and guests as they arrived. Pat Bain Wins National Championship

Eastbourne & District Indoor Bowls Club Member, Pat Bain, has won the EIBA Ladies Over 60 Singles Championship 2018/2019 held at Nottingham on 13th April. Pat started playing bowls at Eastbourne Indoor Bowls Club in 1985. Captains Charity Raises £3,000

Members, friends and guests of Eastbourne & District Indoor Bowls Club based within Hampden Park have raised over £3,000 for this seasons Captains Charity, The Children With Cancer Fund, Polegate. Nothing is Real

NOTHING IS REAL entertained us at the club last night with an amazing evening of Beatles hits. Old Town Scouts try bowling

This evening we entertained 45 youngsters from 1st Old Town Scouts who came along to the club to have a go at Indoor Bowls, after a 20 minute practice session learning how the bias makes the bowl curve as it travels down the rink they all had fun changing rinks aiming at different targets.
