In the Mason Trophy the Ladies “B” team beat the Ladies “A” team 35-33 to qualify for Round 3 against Royal Tunbridge Wells on the 19th January.
In the Over 60 Double Rink the men beat Grattons 33-24 to qualify for the Area final against Worthing Pavilion on the 9th January.
In the Ladies Champion of Champions Jo Morris triumphed 21-17 against Anne Bernard ( Isle of Wight ) in the Area final and will play in the National finals to be held at Dolphin Indoor Bowls Club ( Poole ) at the beginning of February.
The ladies retained their unbeaten record in the East Division of the County League with a victory on all 5 rinks over Denton Island.
