Great turn out for Captains/Presidents “Fives” Day, 8 teams competing in ‘Singles’ ‘Pairs’ ‘Triples’ & ‘Fours’ games across the day.
It was very close with 3 teams on 8 points but this years winners were “The Pretenders” with a better aggregate score overall.

What a fantastic Charity Night at the club over £1,000 raised for our Captains charity St Wilfrid’s Hospice with live music from Nothing Is Real, a local band, who played non stop Beatles hits for no fee, thank you. Thanks also to Bill & Andy behind the bar, to our social team, Sandie, Irene, Kathy, Pauline & Sally for organising the event and raffle and providing the food. Biggest thanks go to all our members and their families and friends who supported the evening.
